As an H&M Department Manager, you'll be responsible for supervising a team of associates within a department and actively overseeing sales, merchandise presentation, customer service and operational functions within the department.

This role is responsible for taking action within a designated department to maximize sales through joint operational and commercial focus to obtain the highest level of profitability. This includes working with plans, budgets and other available tools to make business decisions that ensure maximum profitability, effectively scheduling staff and ensuring proper garment presentation.

By using your strong customer service orientation and previous retail background, you will maintain high quality H&M customer service by providing the best shopping experience for each customer.

In this role you will also focus on people development by recruiting, on boarding, training, developing, and providing succession planning for the staff in your department in conjunction with the Store Manager.
